The whole world is at risk due to the climate crisis, the erosion of natural resources and other environmental threats and poverty remains a significant challenge in many south east asian countries.  Earth Child Project aims to create stability in the lives of children and youth, especially in rural areas, through sustainability education. Our programmes instill a sense of purpose and meaningful identity, enabling them to contribute towards the safety and sustainability of the planet.

Explore Our Causes

ECP work toward addressing various causes and issues in society, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities. Here are some causes that ECP focus on:

Sponsor A Child (Cambodia and Indonesia)

It goes beyond just sponsorship or funding a child. From just USD 50 a month, you will be connected to a child living in vulnerable conditions. Your donation ensures that no child, or family, goes hungry or gets neglected. You will be given regular updates on your sponsored child’s growth and development.

Refurbishment of schools and community spaces (Indonesia and Cambodia)

We fund the upgrading and refurbishment of schools and community spaces for education, community building and communal events.

Laptop Distribution (Singapore, Cambodia and Indonesia)

We collect older laptops, service and send them to countries like Indonesia and Cambodia. This programme allows children to be connected to their overseas tutors to learn through the internet.

Online English Language Classes (Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia)

To improve their communication skills, tutors from Malaysia conduct English Classes online to students in Cambodia and Indonesia.

Confidence Building (Singapore)

Our Confidence-building Programmes build connections through play and adventure. The CAN DO IT! Series of events raise the self-esteem and creativity of children and youth, through close engagement and connections. We teach mindfulness and relaxation exercises to children so that they can cope with stress and social pressure.
Drop-in Centre (Singapore). Creating a safe place for wellbeing and self-discovery that incorporates environmental education and sustainable living for young people.

Peace Building and Goodwill Programmes

Earth Child Project funds visits by students and adults, for exchange programmes between Singapore and communities overseas to build peace and understanding.

Today, thanks to regular sponsorship from her donor, Suri gets to go to an ECP-run school every single day. She receives a well-rounded quality education as well as religious guidance together with other children from nearby villages.

The $50 a month sponsorship funds her school fees, books and supplies, and her daily meals. Her widowed mother are so happy that she and her siblings are safe and well taken care of, and have a chance for a brighter future. She is also a “green” ambassador, having been taught basic lessons on how to care for the planet through sustainable practices.
